Exhibiting an atmosphere of mature ease and thought, “CRUSH” features works of fully-realized artists like the unexpected union of Trevor Goodchilde and Chakra Ashram as “Mister Transistor”. Songs like “Feline” and “I Met You” contain Trevor and Chakra at their sharpest, and yet, also the most emotional.

Adding further range to the album are standout tracks from Akil Nadir on the frank and freaky “Out Your League” produced by SPMethods, and Naima Purdue, previously featured on Vol. 1’s “Breathe”, on a sweet solo turn with “Hopelessly in Love”. Khalil D’Jamaal, Seed Popular and Filli return in excellent form with humor, experience, and expanded taste in sound.

The “CRUSH” album was supposed to come out on Valentine’s Day this year, but the crew feels the album is fitting for who they are now, what is truly important, and where they could go from here. “CRUSH” speaks directly to the relations that matter most, the ones we hold close, and what we learn from them. “CRUSH” features smooth and wildly melodic production that complements the thoughts and feelings of once-young AMPHBNS who just had crushes on life.
